Like Magic

Like Magic. Such a fitting title to describe this portrait! I've known this family for several of years through my boyfriend. Originally from Maui, this family now lives in Connecticut, so they usually visit home often but the pandemic kept them from visiting in recent years. This trip back home was a beautiful one for them. Juanita and their family wanted to a beautiful sunset captured and so we found ourselves at White Rock Beach for their Maui family portrait!

The sky was stunning, but the windy was blowing a little stronger than normal at about 15 miles per hour. However, when you've been a photographer dealing with these strong winds, you can guarantee you're going to get great photos always. That's exactly what happened. With a few strategies, bam!
