It's graduation season and one of the many things on your things to do is take portraits! For Brayden, he's graduating from the same high school I attended, Kamehameha Schools Maui and his parents asked me to be his Maui Senior Portrait Photographer. I couldn't wait for this session because this I grew up with his family and we planned for sunset at one of my favorite south Maui beaches, White Rock Beach in Wailea.

A few reasons why I love this beach so much:

  1. The views! On such a vast beach, there are coconut trees, lava rocks, dirt paths, naturally beautiful trees and greens. The list goes on! There's so much angles of beauty with a perfect view of the sunset.
  2. Most often, it's less windy than the rest of the island. On this particular day, there was actually a flash flood and heavy wind throughout the island, but not here in Wailea!
  3. Cloud cover really compliments your photos here with soft dreamy (almost studio) lighting!
  4. This location goes with any type of portrait session!

I'm excited Brayden had a chance to experience the beauty of White Rock Beach for his senior portraits. It was his first time taking solo photos professionally. From this post, you can see that he did great in front of the camera!

Also, peep that amazing sunset colors that showed up for us as we finished the session!!

Did I also mention he going to college for business management? Yes!! I'm excited for this young man and his bright future!

Thank you so much for viewing this blog post. Send me an inquiry for your photos! I can't wait to hear from you soon. Aloha!
