The Start of Our Forever

One of my very good friends got married and they are Shawncey + Kaikala! I basically grew up with Shawncey and I'm so honored to have this opportunity to capture her Maui Wedding Photography. In the past, I've photographed her senior portraits, family photos, and recently her family photos with her son, Hudson last year.

For this beautiful wedding day of hers, we gathered at Oskie Rice Arena in Kula on a sunny day. The weather was perfect and family and friends from all over the country came to celebrate! With tears and love, everyone was so happy to be together again after the pandemic made it all so difficult to share moments like this as a family. 2021 was Shawncey and Kaikala's year to bring everyone together and begin their journey!

Following the ceremony, we took a drive to Poli Poli in Kula for the perfect afternoon bride and groom photos. Complete intimacy and grace surrounded this beautiful couple here. They chose this spot because it's sentimental to their relationship! They even had their engagement photos captured here!
